A lead is only useful while somebody knows what happens next
I have seen businesses spend time and money generating enquiries, then lose them because the call, form, text message and follow-up are all in different places. The person who took the first call is busy. The customer has not had a reply. By the time somebody notices, the moment has usually passed.
The problem is not solved by buying a CRM and leaving it to do the thinking. Somebody still needs to decide what a good response looks like, where the lead belongs and who acts when a customer replies.
Why I chose GoHighLevel
I use GoHighLevel because it brings pipeline stages, forms, calendars, email, SMS and workflow automation into the same place. For work where speed of response matters, that is useful. It gives the process somewhere to live instead of asking people to remember every follow-up.
I am interested in the system around the platform as much as the platform itself. Once the steps are understood, they can be built into a workflow. That makes gaps visible and gives a team a chance to improve the process rather than simply chase it harder.
Where it can disappoint people
GoHighLevel is capable of a lot, which is exactly why it can become untidy if nobody owns the build. It cannot repair a vague offer, a poor conversation or an unclear sales process. It can only make the existing process happen more often.
I would be cautious about using it as a simple address book. It makes more sense where CRM, messaging and follow-up need to work together and somebody is prepared to look after the structure behind it.
